HARRY
Aged about 7, Harry was a stray, picked up by the dog warden at about 2 years of age. Harry developed a very severe allergy to house dust mites in particular, although lots of things aggravate his condition. For over a year Harry was in a poor state, he lost most of his coat and his skin was constantly sore. Conventional treatment, including twice weekly bathing, injections, steroids and antibiotics did not alleviate the problem. With the introduction of homeopathic treatment and the gradual reduction of all conventional treatment, Harry is now in excellent shape. He is still on a very low dose of steroids with the back up of his homeopathic medicine and all the other medications if required - but fingers crossed all is well. He adores being part of a family with other dogs to play with.
Vital Statistics: Black with a few distinguished grey chin hairs, 31 Kg
Ambition: "To act more like a puppy as I grow older, as I missed out on my youth and for my new owners to have an outdoor heated swimming pool when they next move house, so that I can go swimming with them"
Adores: Picking all soft fruit straight from the bushes and teaching the others dogs how to do it, as well
Likes: Eating, swimming, fetch games, snoring loudly
Dislikes: Celery, going to the vet (he howls to make sure the nurses don't forget he is there)
