Saturday 20th - Sunday 21st June 2009 - Paws in the Park at Broadlands, Romsey on 20-21 June 2009 was a superb event with activities a-plenty. The Labrador Rescue Trust stall did exceeding well, making £978 from merchandise and from the excellent Splash and Grab pool which was filled with exciting toys. The pool attracted dogs of all shapes and sizes who enjoyed splashing around in the cool water to escape the heat of this hot weekend. Once they were in ducking for squeaky toys and tennis balls it was quite a challenge to entice them out again. The stall had plenty of visitors including some familiar faces who had supported the New Forest Show in previous years. As well as raising lots of money, the volunteers did a great job in spreading the word about The Trust's good work with several visitors registering an interest in rescuing some of our Labradors. Excellent fun was had by all.
